Sporting and Cultural Facilities

Saint-Etienne Métropole is responsible for the running of sporting and cultural facilities of interest to the whole community – such as the Geoffroy Guichard stadium and the Museum of Modern Art – and maintains its own distinctive local identity. This can be seen today in ambitious projects such as the construction of the "Cité du Design" (design center), the Zénith (show and music hall) and the promotion of the region's Le Corbusier heritage.
